Sri Lanka confirms 10th death from COVID-19

No new coronavirus cases found in SL

Director General of Health Services, Dr. Anil Jasinghe confirmed Sri Lanka’s 10th death due to COVID19 yesterday(25).

The victim is a 51 year old woman, who returned from Kuwait and was undergoing quarantine in Trincomalee.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country stands at 1,162 out of which 695 have recovered.

Forty-one new cases of COVID-19 have been identified within the Monday (25).

Coronavirus infected patients increasing the tally of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka to 1,182.

According to the Epidemiology Unit at the Ministry of Health, A total of 477 patients who have tested positive for the virus are currently under medical care while the number of recoveries in the country stands at 695.
